As Mayor of the City of Springville, I welcome you to our City website. This historic city was formed in 1877 and was originally known as Big Springs. An underground spring which has provided a source of drinking water in this area provided previous City leaders with the idea to change the name of this City from Big Springs to Springville.

Springville is known throughout the area for its federally registered downtown historic district and numerous historic homes. As mayor I take great pride in the excellent schools, friendly churches, and civic spirit that the citizens of this great City display on a daily basis.

Our City is home to a thriving Chamber of Commerce that provides numerous opportunities for our businesses and citizens to become involved in several annual events and activities that are held in Springville.
